Rose's eyes twisted back and forth over the men that were moving her parents. She knew what was coming. They would put her mother on the bed and her father with his gun in his hand.
"Oh god..."
She whispered as she realized what she was about to see.
"No... no... no..."

The men even had some plastic around their shoes to make sure not to leave any footprints. They moved Alex onto the bed and when they moved Thomas, he came around and grunted.
"the fuck...? Alex..?"
"You'll be joining her" one of the men said when they dropped him on the floor and he shot Thomas in the head, making it look like he shot himself. They kept arranging the scene and finally put the gun beside Thomas

Rose fell down to her knees when she saw her father get his head blown in by the shot. It was too much for her to handle. Even now, two years later, it was the worst thing that she'd ever seen in her entire life.
She felt sick to her stomach, leaning forward on the kitchen floor on her hands and knees, she threw up right there everything she'd had to eat or drink for the day, her face sheer, sweaty and pale. It was the first time she'd pulled her eyes from the memory.

"Rose! Rose!" Embry desperately tried to get her attention, holding her tight when she was done throwing up and he pulled her away from the wall.
"Please talk to me, Rose, please!" he was shaking with fear now. He couldn't lose Rose, she was all he had left and he really thought she was gonna die now, not knowing at all what she had been through.

Rose gasped for breaths like she'd been drowning moments ago and now she was free. She reached out for Embry as he pulled her back, wrapping her arms around him. She put her hand to his chest and then his neck as if checking to see if he was real while she sucked in breaths.
"Oh my god... oh my god... oh my god." She started to repeat over and over again.

"What happened! Talk to me! Are you sick? Should I call the ambulance?" he asked in a panic still, holding onto her but happy that she seemed to acknowledge him being there now

Rose shook her head for a while, back and forth. "No... no, I just... oh god, what I saw." She couldn't imagine explaining it to her brother. "It wasn't his fault, Embry... he didn't do it. He didn't kill her. He didn't kill himself!"

Rose looked at her brother, shaking her head, looking directly at her brother.
"He didn't do it. I saw it. A second ago..." She gestured across the room as if it was still there.
