Jack put down his rum. "And leave all the fun to you old ladies?" he grinned his normal cheeky grin. "I highly doubt it." he looked over the storm and groaned as he too felt a drop of rain on his skin. "Rain's always a good sign." he mumbled sarcastially, walking back over to Barbossa he stopped and looked him in the eyes. "Yes, Hector?" he asked in a cocky tone.

Barbossa smiled. "Wrong Jack."
Having spent some time screwing around in the captain's quarters, Jack the Monkey climbed up to the bridge and loped over to the port bulwark with something small in his hand.
Barbossa abandoned the wheel and went to him, and so was presented with the object: a broken beak. Barbossa twitched at the site of it but accepted it anyway, trying to smile. "Thoughtful." He slipped it in his coat pocket, looking mildly disgusted. "I'll just put it with the others." He held his elbow out and JtM climbed onto his shoulder. If it was possible for a monkey to give someone a dirty look, then Jack the Monkey let Jack the Human know exactly what he thought of him.
Barbossa shrugged. "He doesn't hold to anyone callin' me that. I'd sleep with my mouth closed from now on, were I you."

Jack rolled his eyes at the whole scene between the monkey and Barbossa, how sickening. He looked over the sea to distract himself and saw they were in a closer range to the ship.
Taking his chance as Barbossa had stepped back he took control of the helm proudly, feeling like a captain again.
"Isn't that Sao Feng's ship? least it looks like it." he asked himself. He turned back to Barbossa and saw the look Jack gave him.
"Damn bloody monkey!" Jack growled pulling his pistol out on the small primate.

Innocently, "Is it? I haven't a glass out, but it looked more a sloop than a junk an hour ago. What are the chances his flagship would be sailing our waters? Hm, perhaps the captain has a bone to pick with ye." Barbossa smirked and headed to the lower decks, leaving Jack to the helm; he called back over his shoulder, "Enjoy command, Jack..."

Jack frowned at what the older captain was saying and looked out over to the ship. He turned the helm very abruptly so the ship jerked terribly.
"Change of course, we be heading.....somewhere else!" he replied, he was scared of who might be commandeering the ship and decided not to take a chance.
He looked down at his compass in a frown it was just spinning out of control. "That's intresting..." he mumbled and snapped it shut, he had no idea where they were sailing to now.

Barbossa had to brace himself to keep from pitching forward. He continued on to the captain's cabin, a self-satisfied expression on his face. "Well, 'somewhere else'-ward ho."

Jack, being immature stuck his tongue out to Hector Barbossa's back and looked out over the sea's again lost in thought.
"Can ye keep a secre' jack?" an echoey voice asked from behind him.
Jack turned around and saw no one was there. "Who be you?" he asked frowning.
"I be naught but dead." the voice replied. "Ghost of teh sea infact."
"I'm listening..." Jack replied, to the other crew members it just looked like Jack was speaking to himself and they chose to let it pass.
"You see, I need ye to do me a favour, I know of the book of Tzekel." the voice whispered.
"That magic book which is meant to grant but two wishes?" Jack asked in a frown. "An old wenches tale, wouldn't think much into it mate."
"Ahh simple naive Jack."
"Captain Jack!" he growled. "And I'm not naive!"

Upon entering the captain's cabin, Barbossa let the monkey scuttle off to his perch. He shrugged his jacket off and threw it over a stray chair, tossed his at on the table and took a rag from a pocket of his waistcoat to wipe the rain off his face and neck. The monkey started to shriek for his attention, so Barbossa went to him to dry the water off his little monkey head.
"Alright, quit yer bitchin'!" He dried the monkey off and gave him a scratch behind the ears, muttering quietly, "Aw, I didn't mean it... My little man is all wet, isn't he? Poor Jack. Now," he grinned and took a quick look around to make sure they were alone, "what did ye do with the other Jack's hat?"

"The book's been lost for centuries Jack." the voice spoke.
"Well thats just maddeningly unhelpful." Jack replied frowning confused as he stared down at his spinning compass and growled.
"But I has a lead on where ye can find it." the voice spoke. "Though there be a price."
"And what price would that be?" Jack asked looking around him hoping to put a face to the voice, but alas there was still no one there.
"The head of a captain, or else the wishes won't work Jack." the voice hissed.
Jack frowned and then grinned. "I know just the captain." he then looked back down at his compass, still spinning.
"Let me be your guide Jack." the voice spoke, all at once the compass stopped and pointed north west.
"gentleman we have a course!" he yelled to the crew. As he turned the helm abruptly again in the right direction

Barbossa picked the monkey up, held the little guy to his shoulder and continued to towel him off, hoping to do something about the wet-capuchin smell. Meanwhile, the monkey nestled in and looked elsewhere, playing innocent: what hat? Barbossa smiled proudly and continued the head scratches.
"Fine, keep yer secrets, ye beastly thing." He took his seat at the head of the table and pondered aloud. "Maybe we'll be in Shipwreck sooner than planned." The monkey wrested his head away and stared straight up at the roof of the cabin; he bared his teeth and let out a screechy growl. Creepy. Barbossa followed his gaze up, then looked back at him. "What?"
