Logan followed Mystique inside, reassured of his daughters' safety the second Lucy went into ear-piercing scream mode. While Lucy was chatting away to Mystique about the horrible lack of Disney dvd's on the Helicarrier, Logan lifted Kaede up carefully. He slapped Alfie against the forehead. "Answer your goddamn phone next time, you fuckin' asshole." He growled.

Alfie frowned, cracking one eye open. "Whut?" He mumbled, still half asleep, exhausted from trying to control Kaede and Lucy all evening while still recovering from impromptu surgery. While across the other side of the office, Mystique smothered Lucy in kisses, much to the little girl's complaint.
"Wolverine. My office is not a crèche," Fury said without looking up from his paperwork.

"S.H.I.E.L.D.'s day care was full." Logan replied drily, while most of his attention was on his baby girl who tiredly opened her yellow eyes to claw at his torn-up and blood-covered shirt. He brushed a kiss on her forehead and on her tiny fingers.. Knowing that no matter how fucked-up, he'd made the right choice back there in Japan.
Anna had finally caught up with the others, after nearly getting lost and arrested in the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. "Uhm, hi." She told Nick Fury, as she stepped over to her boyfriend and gave Alfie a hug. "Why is there poo on your forehead?"

Alfie wiped a hand over his forehead and looked at the smudged black on his fingers, before he glared at Lucy (who giggled insanely) "Three guesses," He told Anna.
Mystique carried Lucy across to Logan, so each parent could fuss the other daughter. She brushed a kiss on Kaede's forehead before she looked back up at Logan. "You alright?"

Anna raised an eyebrow and peeled the sticker from Alfie's cheek, before she wiped the heart away with a tissue from her purse. "You won't believe what we've been through," She said, bringing him up to date about the time-jumping and fake-X-Men fighting.
"Yeah," Logan half-lied, while he gave Lucy a big hug. He didn't regret anything, at least, so that's the part that he could answer honestly. But he felt like a mess. He just needed to sort out his thoughts. Needed some time.
In the meanwhile, Lucy, oblivious to her parents' concerns, wrinkled her nose at her daddy, "You're all blooody!" She complained, hugging him nonetheless. "Can we go home nooow?"

Mystique gave Lucy a smile, "Course, sweetheart," She said, brushing a kiss in her hair and putting her down on her feet so she could run along to the car.
Alfie raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, well that's nothing compared to what I had to put up with," He joked, like Lucy was more stressful than time travelling.

Kaede was already falling asleep again in her daddy's arms while they followed Lucy to the door. "Thanks," Logan briefly told Nick, for not having Alfie arrested when he showed up on the doorstep anyway.
Anna gave Alfie a playful slap against his shoulder, before she saw Logan and Mystique leave. "Oh, we gotta go." She said, taking a hold of her boyfriend's hand to teleport after the other couple.

Lucy crawled into the back of the car between Anna and Alfie. "Poo!" She grinned, poking a finger in Alfie's cheek, not at all tired like her sister and babysitter.
"Luce!" Mystique scolded their daughter, not needing Kaede picking up anymore words like that. She climbed into the front seat, taking Kaede from Logan's arms so he could drive.
"Kaede started it," Lucy sulked.

While he switched the car into gear, Logan briefly looked over to Lucy via the rear-view mirror, with a hint of a smirk on his face - just glad to know they were alright.
"Seeeee, daddy thinks it's funny! Daddy laughed!" Lucy immediately noticed, using that as her excuse.
"No, I didn't." Logan told her, face back to completely serious.
"Yes you diiiiiiiid!" Lucy squealed, rolling over the back seat, laughing. "Poo poo poo poo poo!"

Mystique raised an eyebrow at Logan, hiding a slight smirk, "This is your doing, you silence her," She told him. "Preferably before she wakes Kaede,"
