Logan raised an eyebrow, looking at Lucy via the mirror again. "Punkin, if you're quiet, the 'Sticker'll fall asleep and you can write on him again." He said, not exactly handling it in a responsible-parent sorta way.. but hey, Lucy was happy. The little girl grinned widely, and went completely quiet, watching Alfie like a lioness watching her prey.

Alfie raised an eyebrow, meeting Lucy's gaze. "Yeah, that's so not happening,"
They spent the rest of the journey in silence, Alfie not breaking his staring contest with Lucy until the car pulled into the garage. Mystique got out of the car. "You tuck Luce in, I'll sort Kaede out," She smirked, giving herself the easy option. "Night sweetheart," She told Lucy, giving her a kiss.

"Night, you guys." Anna told the others, before she teleported herself and Alfie upstairs.
"Nooo, I wanna plaaay," Lucy whined, while Logan lifted her up over a shoulder, and carried her upstairs to put her in bed.

Mystique tucked Kaede in without any hassle from the sleeping baby. She pulled the blanket up to her chin and brushed a kiss on her forehead. Kaede opened her yellow eyes slightly and let out a yawn, waving her fists in the air before pulling them back down to her chest. "I love you," She told her daughter, turning the light off and closing the door behind her.
She made a detour to the kitchen before she headed to her own bedroom and got undressed. She pulled on a pair of pj bottoms and one of Logan's tshirts, and curled up in the window chair with a mug of hot chocolate. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes, trying to clear her thoughts.

Lucy managed to stall her bedtime for another ten minutes, but eventually she too was tucked in and ready to sleep. Logan picked up blue teddy from the floor and put it next to her, before he leaned over and brushed a kiss on her forehead. "Night darlin'." He told her, switching the lights off on his way out.
He pulled a hand through his hair tiredly while he walked over to his own bedroom. When he entered, he walked over to Mystique´s chair and leaned over to brush a kiss on her neck. "Imma shower." He told her in a mumble. "You alrigh'?"

Mystique gave him a smile, "Yeah, and good, you stink," She smirked slightly, finding her book down the side of the chair and flicking it open to where the bookmark was holding her place.

Logan just gave her a slight smirk before he grabbed a towel and walked into the bathroom. He was steadily healing up from any physical damage. After a hot shower and a night of sleep, he'd be as good as new. Besides, he could really use that hot shower to clear his head and wash off any memories he really wanted to get rid off right now.

Mystique took a sip of her hot chocolate and closed the book again, rubbing her temples. There was too much to think about. She didn't want Logan to know she was dwelling on it though. She didn't want him to know she was still thinking about her baby boy that grew into that ignorant bastard. She didn't want him to know she could still hear the crack of that cane across her delicate seven-year old skin. She should just be happy that they were home, that their daughters were safe but she still just couldn't shake the memories.

While Mystique was trying hard to hide the fact that these memories were gnawing at her, Logan was doing the exact same thing with his. As far as he was concerned, it'd been bad enough to he'd cracked in front of his wife back in Japan, when they watched Mariko disappear out of sight. He'd pulled himself together enough to seem alright by now, and he intended to keep that up. It was burning him up inside though.. that raging feeling of guilt. He felt like a traitor. Like her murderer. Again.
After a twenty-minute shower, Logan eventually returned to the bedroom in his boxers, to find Mystique still in that chair by the window.

Mystique had her head leaning back against the chair, eyes closed. The book had fallen into her lap and the mug was still clutched in her hands as she dozed, the time-jumping taking it out of her more than she would've cared to admit.
