Tom woke up earlier than he needed to. Usually he went to the office early, so he was still stuck in that rythm eventhough school began later. But he didn't mind, it gave him time to read the paper, eat some breakfast and make his hair look the nice sort of messy before he had to go.
He arrived at school early too, almost ten minutes early - and he went to his locker first to dump some stuff there.

Roxy ran into the school five minutes before time, she thought she was late cause her watch was ahead of time. She hurried to her locker to get her books, pretty much running past Tom without noticing him.

Tom turned to Roxy as she ran past, catching his eye quite easily in her new purple/red outfit. "Hey! Are you in a hurry to get somewhere?" He called after her. He grinned teasily cos he assumed that she thought she was late.. which she wasn't, obviously.

"Yes, geography. I'm late at it is, sorry" she said and grabbed a heap of books. She turned her head to Tom "... you wanna be late ? or are you hanging out cause ..what are you still doing here?" she asked, not understanding why he would want to come in late on his second day.
Was he waiting for her ? ... A ticklish feeling crept up into her stomach, thinking he was waiting for her...

He smirked, and walked over to Roxy's side. He held his wrist (with watch around it) next to hers, so she could see the two clocks didn't match. "Congratulations, Roxy, you managed to be five minutes early today." He smirked again. "I'm proud of you."

Roxy's eyes widen "Oh...." She made a shocked face "I think I'm proud of me too!" she blurted out and giggled, hiding her face behind her hand "Damn my watch...okay.. thank you. I am totally relaxed again" She prooved so by leaning back against some of the lockers. "How am I going to spend my extra five minutes ??" She joked.

"Oh, I don't know... entertain other people who were accidentally too early?" Tom suggested with a smirk, leaning against the lockers with his shoulder, facing her. For the first time he really looked up and down Roxy, and was forced to conclude that she looked nice today. The dress gave him a good view of her legs. And he thought that made her look better than any 17-year-old girl should look to him.
He didn't mentioned it to her though. He was pretty determined not to flirt with a student he actually thought of as pretty. That was risky business.

"Aha, well...I could tell a joke, but I am bad at those so sorry" She grinned at him "So, I could bore you with conversation" she nodded "How was your first day at school? Did you like it? Or did you tell your mom and dad that you want to move again?" she chuckled.

Tom shrugged, "I told them people in this school aren't exactly doing snoopy dances around new guys. And that this makes it appear like a weird clan.. or sect.. or maybe a secret elite-club that I'm unaware of." Tom smirked, "But one girl was nice enough to realize I don't bite. Maybe she's the sect-leader. What do you think?"

She turned her gaze away from him and looked at the kids passing by, heading to their classes. So he had noticed? On his first day he had already noticed how distant people were.. Sect like ? That was not a good thing..
The others should know about this, she was right after all. They probably didn't think she had the brains to figure something like this out but she knew he would think it odd that nobody wanted to talk him.
"I can't even lead myself" she shrugged, not sure what kind of an excuse she needed to make up "Sure, it's a bit elite.. everybody knows their own little elkwood life, outsiders are frowned upon, but it'll disappear in the end" She shrugged a little, this was all she could come up with.
